VNC® Enterprise Edition 4.0 - known bugs and features

The following are known bugs, features and omissions in VNC Enterprise Edition 4.0.

1 Sep 2004 10 Windows viewer When Fullscreen mode is selected via the F8 menu, the Windows taskbar can remain on top of the VNC viewer window. Use the system menu (accessible via the icon at the top left of the VNC viewer window) to enter Fullscreen mode - the bar will then dissappear after a short delay.

28 Sep 2004 11 Windows server The Desktop wallpaper, pattern and UI effects removal features do not take effect when the workstation is locked, on the Windows NT 4 and Windows 2000 platforms. 03 Dec 2004 13 Windows viewer If the VNC viewer is minimized and the Options item is then selected from the VNC viewer taskbar entry's menu, then the Options dialog is not visible on-screen and the VNC viewer appears to hang. If Options is selected in this way, press Escape immediately, before clicking on or selecting any other window. This will close the (invisible) Options dialog and return control to the VNC viewer. 28 Feb 2005 14 Server (all platforms) Connection fails if the size of the remote desktop changes during the authentication stage. Connect to the server again. Fixed in VNC Enterprise Edition 4.1.3 and VNC Free Edition 4.1
